And I know this is stating the obvious but watch out for bumps and potholes.....since the R8 is a 'low' car by default.

Roads here can really suck depending on where you venture to, highway 101 is a death trap for lowered cars in some areas. I just don't drive the car to places I am not familiar with and that solves a lot of headaches.
Actually the R8 is WIDER by roughly 4" than most cars (besides exotics and the new Vette) but it's definitely not the lowest car I own.
My NSX sits WAY lower but not as wide

We were taking some comparison pictures the other day and had some fun!
R8 loses by one "door" since the NSX has one extra engine hatch:
R8 has a wider butt but the tiny wing looks almost inadequate! haha
NSX has the lowest point:
Mid-engines: v6 290 hp vs v10 500+ hp
My DD on the left which replaced the e90 m3 and prior to that the IS-F:
The z4m is actually the highest output HP car here with 560+hp:
NSX sits lower by quite a bit while the R8 looks like a behemoth!

Word is "timeless" ~ there are only few cars in the history of cars that can use this word.
As much as I love the MKIV Supra, the design/shape shows its age. Another timeless I'd love to own is the 360 Stradale. I told my wife this is one Ferrari I'd like to own in yellow and she gave me this

thank you, the biggest problem these days is finding real time to drive these cars. My kids take up pretty much 99% of my time so not much left
Thanks, I ordered a few small mods and anticipating UPS to bring some goodies for me to make this car a bit more unique. Only drawback to the R8 is that every single mod costs $$$$ even a shift **** was $500!
Best part of the R8 is I get 20mpg and can take my kids out (one at time of course) in the car which my NSX was not able to do.
