Keeping the car low-key and pretty stock for now. Just want to enjoy a stock car for once since none of the cars we own stay stock for now
Quite honestly this car doesn't need anything. Ride height is good, exhaust is not bad and the rest of the car is amazing in stock form. I just want to do a thicker CF steering wheel and shift **** for now.
Since I could not afford the LF-A this car will have to do for now. Wifey loves the car more than my other rides for sure...haha - she said it's so quiet!
i want to get the v8 r8 but i know i will be jealous everytime i see a v10 on the road. i love v8s but the speed of that v10 and it looks a more aggressive too.

Don't get the V8, like you said you will always regret and wish "what if".....
Not trying to diss the V8 but it's simply not a fast car nor does it inspire what an exotic car should feel like. My brother was over last night and first question he asked was I hope you didn't get the V8 model. He had an RS4 prior and that motor is not impressive.
Out of curiosity, any particular reason you went with a manual vs DSG?
Well first off, I would never buy a car like this with paddles, one of the reasons I think I really disliked my last e90 m3 was because of the DCT tranny. This is a fun weekend car with the wife/kids so it must be a manual tranny.
Audi did not release the DSG (S-tronic) tranny until the 2014+ models. Mine is a 2010

That's an easy question - this is the only car I wanted quite frankly ~ nothing else on my radar that instills any excitement. I thought about the F430 but after driving my buddies 458, I realized that is the only F-car I wanted and just too much money to spend for a car. I think he paid nearly $350k+!!! ouch
The R8 is everything my NSX is missing - having both of these cars in my stable is everything I could ever want truthfully. I took my daughter out for a spin this past weekend in the R8, stopped for desert, went to the mall, did some shopping and cruised home with the A/C on while she dozed off for a nap which I can't do in the NSX..........................was a perfect Sunday afternoon! Meets all my requirements for a fun toy just wish it had back seats. j/k
