Not a terribly impressive Yamaha-built V8....although, unlike many V8s, it could fit into the SHO underhood transversely. Still, GM's competing Pontiac Grand Prix GTP could easily keep up (or outrun it) with its supercharged 3.8L V6.

jokes aside, you got to give that car's owner credit. people do this kind of stuff to draw attention, he/she had done a heck of job at that.

After that, of course, a number of the 60s/70s-vintage muscle-cars came from the factory with their own graphics/racing-stripes, spoilers, etc.....even Road-Runner cartoons.
You can't sugar coat this...at all.

I'm not sure if the owner is being serious or just doing this to their car for joke/attention. I'm really curious as to what goes through their minds when people just all of a sudden decide to make their cars look like a hobo went free-for-all and make a car their canvas for this type of insanity LOL.

At least those add-ons are functional.

Less drag on the rear wheels, Windshield spoiler creates drag and some downforce on the front wheels.
And of course those flames add 5hp and 5 lb-ft

On another note, that cab forward design is really hideous. There's a 10 ft front overhang right there.

So who's suger-coating? I never was into that kind of stuff myself. I just said that there was a time that a lot of guys did it, and that, back then, it wasn't as much of an anomaly as today. And, even today, you have the SEMA crowd.

IMO I'm speechless. That anybody would actually find a 1996 Taurus beautiful and try and improve upon it, even in a severely misguided direction.
