dont know if this had been posted before, but i ran into this interesting video of the tahara plant assembling the LS. enjoy

The Tahara plant is the most sophisticated automobile production facility in the world. And the products that plant churns out are a testimonial to that claim.

I'd love to get a peek there, they are probably gearing up for the next LS already. (Or at least the testing mules)

If you want to find out if your vehicle was assembled at Tahara, check the 11th number in the VIN. If it is a 5 it has been assembled in Tahara.
My 2006 LC and my father's 2011 LC both Tahara rigs.

Of course the other plant that makes the LC and LX ( Yoshiwara plant - The original Land Cruiser plant ) is every bit as good.
Amazing vehicles, excellent build quality.
