As a Subaru owner myself, the last great aesthetically pleasing Subaru STI died in 2013/14. This 2015 looks like a Hyundai Evo X, on steroids with a "whopping 305hp."

I has disappoint.

See the all-new WRX and WRX STI out for shakedown on the racetrack and the curvy mountain roads. With powerful, turbocharged SUBARU BOXER® engines, Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, and race-tuned handling, both are in their element in these environments. It's never been easier to conquer the corner, the sweeper, or the chicane in the best-handling, best-performing WRX and WRX STI ever.

Japanese brand's flagship pocket rocket proves to be greater than the sum of its parts.

On this episode of Ignition, Carlos Lago tests the latest generation of the perennial rally car favorite: The 2015 Subaru WRX STI. Much like the new WRX, this STI has an entirely new and significantly stiffer body structure, but unlike the WRX, it still uses the same 305 horsepower 2.5-liter turbocharged flat-four that's powered the car since 2008. Our introduction to the car occurs at the press launch at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. From there, we test the STI to see the performance improvements and drive it on one of our favorite mountain roads. How does the new STI stack up? Stay tuned to find out.

Wait...I don't agree with the Finally Matches the Evo X performances....I refuse to believe. The new car Technologies can not be just as good as an Existed 7 years Technologies from Mitsu

I'm a Subaru fan, loved my 11' WRX before the turbo blew... this thing is sinfully ugly, it's like a prius sport and it costs the same as my 350, sure msrp says one thing but the dealer lot for the base wrx is just over $40,000 which is what I paid for my 350 and the 350 is twice the car this thing is in terms of reliability and quality. Subaru really screwed the pooch with this. I'll say the WRX was funner to drive though and quicker, that's about it.
