But if you really think about it. This new Subaru does not look bad and looks like another mid-size sedan. With AWD

True. I see the car very appealing in some angles. Hope it looks good in person.

I actually like it.

WIth that said, I wonder if there will be a station wagon version (like in previous generations).

unless you have a convertible or targa roof, frameless windows suck.

I think they just spoiled us with the edgy concept, if they would've never shown us that the final design would've been ok.

are hyundai & subaru like partners? what's up with identical hexagon grills? tucson, santa fe, this and several other subies. frankly i'm tired of it. i don't care who did it first. i just don't like the shape. it looks dated.

Maybe..........but AFAIK, Subaru is quite popular in the UK (one of the top five Japanese auto brands in the UK if I heard right).

In fact, they just released a final facelift for the Outback over there.

haha silly tag line.

My aunt has had a Subaru and I've had friends with one or two. But I never developed an emotional attachment to any Subaru. They are extremely competent but they lack that X factor for me. So a tag line like that is useless on someone like me. It's meant more for people who have owned the brand and understand it better

It can be applied to wrx and wrx sti, those have a cult following. some of my friends wouldn't get rid of them if you paid them

Default Subaru Prices All-New 2015 Legacy from $21,695*

The next generation of Subaru's Legacy sedan is almost here, with the Japanese carmaker releasing pricing today ahead of a U.S. market launch this summer. Excluding a $795 (*) deliver and destination fee, the 2015 Legacy starts at $21,695 for the base 2.5i rising to $29,595 for the 3.6R Limited, with all models featuring standard all-wheel drive and Subaru's Lineartronic Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT).

Engine options are limited to a 2.5-liter flat-four that delivers 175 horsepower and an estimated fuel economy of 26mpg city and 36mpg highway, and a 256-horsepower 3.6 liter, 6-cylinder Boxer engine with an estimated gas mileage of 20 city, 29 highway and 23 combined.

Base models sport an improved Infotainment System with a 6.2-inch single-touch screen, AM/FM Stereo HD Radio with single-disc CD Player (yes, they still make those) and Bluetooth as standard.

Opt for the Premium trim and you get a bigger 7-inch multi-touch display, All-Weather Package, dual zone air-conditioning, 10-way power driver’s seat, leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift handle, and illuminated overhead console and front door pull handles. Subaru also offer three option packages for the Premium, namely the Moonroof Package, Navigation, EyeSight/SRVD Safety Package, bundled together for $2,890.

Next is the Limited grade that gets leather upholstery, 18-inch alloy wheels, a Harman/Kardon audio system, two-position memory for the driver's seat, dual-mode heated rear seats, Rear Vehicle Detection System, exterior mirrors with integrated turn signals, fog lights, wood accent trims, and center console rear A/C outlets.

The flagship model of the series is the 3.6R Limited that is available only with the bigger engine and which adds, HID low beam headlights with automatic height adjustment control, and dual stainless exhaust tips.

I'm not impressed by either the hp ratings or fuel economy for either this 2.5 or 3.6 considering the same displacement from competitors put out better numbers
