^ they and the Fusion have it right cornering that part of the of the market
New Chrysler 200 will also have it.
Maybe they're "cornering" it, but seems like a pretty small corner. The take rate for AWD for Fusion is pretty low in the overall national mix, I think ~5% last figures I saw.
People that want AWD are generally okay with getting the compact CUV's like RAV4, CR-V, etc.

That's right, glad to see the 200 get it optional too. Doesn't have to be a volume seller (AWD) by any means. Just the fact these companies offer it in a segment that overall lacks it is

well, in general it seems Subaru is "cornering" AWD market
WIth that said, I wonder if there will be a station wagon version (like in previous generations).
Subaru quit selling Legacy wagons (and Outback sedans) a number of years ago in the American market because of low sales of each, and, of course, the huge popularity of the Outback wagon itself.
I'm not impressed by either the hp ratings or fuel economy for either this 2.5 or 3.6 considering the same displacement from competitors put out better numbers
subaru has never been known for hp (except wrx/sti) or fuel economy. they're loved for reliability and awd, and 'frumpiness'
having said that, looking at the pic of that subaru in the still of the youtube video there, it looks a lot like the new sonata or genesis.
competent sure. Aunt had a legacy wagon with the rear facing jump seats . That said, Subaru does nothing for me
4cly numbers are impressive, it is awd that gets same combined mpg as new earthdreams Honda and 2 mpg better than Camry... it is pretty darn impressive.
