from 2 sedans to a whole bunch of different vehicles with multiple variants. from a few countries to most of the planet. from 2wd to awd and 4wd. from refined and conservative, to bold and in your face. from 40 grand to 400 grand.
it's been a heck of a ride, and it's just getting started.

From a single accident came one of the best things to enter my life. Thanks Lexus
Forget your 25. I raise you a Century

Still wish I was celebrating MINE.
Anyhow, automotive history will show that, regardless of Lexus's weak or strong points today, they were the first Japanese upmarket nameplate that proved (more so than with Acura or Infiniti) that they could go one-on-one with the German big boys....and occasionally beat them.

Here, IMO (which of course is subjective), for a number of reasons, is the best overall car Lexus has done in those 25 years.....the LS430. Driving this car was a true delight. It was, IMO, almost everything that a classic luxury car should be......Lexus didn't try and make a luxury sports-sedan out of it.

As for a "classic" Lexus, I still drive a 1992 SC300, 22 years after it was born, it still runs like a swiss watch, still looks beautiful, still is the most reliable vehicle I've ever owned.

Congrats to Lexus!
I would agree with you, but I would specify the 04-06 LS430...on the 17" wheels for ride.
It took what made the 01-03 a great luxury sedan and tweaked the style to what IMHO was a MUCH more appealing car. My Dad had a 98 LS and actually kept it after the lease was up in 2001 because he thought the 01 430, which he loved the drive of and the interior of, was ugly. In 04...he traded it on an 04 UL.
Still my favorite Lexus luxury sedan as well. IMHO it also still today is a great looking, stately luxury sedan that still has road presence and catches my eye. If it weren't for the really outdated navigation/infotainment tech...I'd be tempted to have one.
