Subjective, I know, but I think the CLA is fugly. Personally, I'd try an squeeze out a good deal on an A4 before the next gen comes out...

Yeah subjective for sure. But every CLA I see at my work's parking garage looks so good. I can't deny Mercedes has a winner on their hands. The LED daytime running lights look amazing too.

The Audi A3 styling has been played out on other models for far too long. They would've been smart to use the A7 style instead of the A4/A6 styling cues.

4 doors ?

Paranomic Headlights and LED ?

300 HP ?

My goodness, are they trying to kill EVO and STI that hard ?
You are describing the S3, which will be about $54k nicely loaded, Audi is never cheap bro

Used beat up ones are cheap

I try to like the CLA-- the local MB dealer has their storage lot down the road from my house, and every day on the way home from work, I look and try to like it, but I can't do it. The LED DRLs are sweet though.

I'm totally with you on the A3--a mini A7 would have been awesome, and they would still retain the hatchback.

Have you guys sat in an A3 yet?

This car might look good on the outside but the interior is horribly cheap

did they announce S3 pricing? A3 with 2.0t "loaded" (nothing special), is already 45k. So it is going to be expensive as well.

A3 is nice as long as you dont look to much into it.

No official pricing yet, $54k is a guesstimate, $10k more then A3 and $10k less then S4

Will be fun to see what a loaded RS3 will cost

I'd take one - I'm sure its better than my TSX.

EDIT: I sat in a 44K A3 today and thought it was pretty nice...White w/black interior, loaded car looked amazing with 19s. Back seat was actually bigger than I thought it would be (im 6ft)

i think their pricing is moving up... like with the CLA, MB moved C class pricing a LOT in Europe... Autobild tested it vs BMW and Audi, and base level C class is now €6k more expensive than BMW.
This is where Audi is moving as well... so next A4 might be significantly more expensive.

Default Audi Reveals Pricing And Configurator For 2015 A3 Range

With the 2015 Audi A3 sedan's on-sale date approaching, the car's online configurator has gone live. Using the configurator, buyers can price an A3 before it hits showrooms later this year.

Audi announced a base price of $30,795 (including destination) back in October. That buys a 1.8-liter TFSI-badged turbocharged four-cylinder gasoline engine, which produces 170 horsepower and 200 pound-feet of torque. It's coupled to a six-speed S tronic dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Even the base "Premium" model comes equipped with niceties like leather seats, a panoramic sunroof, and automatic xenon headlights with LED daytime running lights and taillights.

Models equipped with the 2.0-liter TFSI turbocharged four-cylinder engine start at $33,795. The 2.0-liter engine produces 220 hp and 258 lb-ft, and is paired with the same dual-clutch automatic as the 1.8-liter.

Both models come standard with Audi's quattro all-wheel drive.

Audi will also offer two option packages for the 2015 A3. The "Premium plus" adds features including heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, and keyless start for an extra $2,900. The "Prestige" package includes full LED headlights, Audi's MMI infotainment system, and a 14-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system for $8,800.

EPA fuel-economy ratings for the two gasoline engines aren't available yet, but the A3 will soon have one of the greenest luxury-car powertrain lineups available.

The gasoline A3 will be joined later this year by a 2.0-liter TDI diesel model, featuring the same new four-cylinder engine as the 2015 Volkswagen Golf TDI. It will launch at roughly the same time as the convertible A3 Cabriolet and performance-minded S3 sedan. Finally, an A3 Sportbcak e-tron plug-in hybrid hatchback will hit showrooms in early 2015.
