I'm not sure about the AMG models

However, I do know about the price of the E300 AMG SPORT saloon

Philippine Retail Price = PHP 5,680,000

and according to xe.com/ucc, the American Dollar equivalent puts it at USD$127,445.31

Absoluetly! I mentioned earlier maybe not this thread, but the LED lighting really gives the car presence in darker environments. Gives back that "quad" look that the E-Class lost with it's facelift

Thanks for the post. I'm considering this car. The main reason is I want to try something new. My biggest fear is reliability. I don't plan to keep it long. Maybe 3 years or so. I feel I should be OK. But I did read some complaints about the tranny on mb forums. Any thoughts from CL? Thanks.

If you're only going to keep it for a short period, might as well lease it

It'll surely be fine for 3 years. The transmission can act dumb sometimes but its not failure prone. Honestly Mercedes never really got the 7G-tronic right- ZF's 6HP (although unreliable) and 8HP designs perform better.

With that said though, when it comes to E-class, I would want to GO ALL OUT.

Never a fan of the current E class, but I'd take this over any mid-sized SUV ...

Default 2015 Mercedes E-Class gains new infotainment system and diesel 4x4 version

Comes with a 4G internet connection

Mercedes-Benz has announced a set of upgrades for the E-Class family.

First, the German manufacturer introduced a new internet-enabled infotainment system with GPS navigation, giving "convenient use of the versatile options afforded by modern communications technology”. The system offers a 4G wireless broadband internet connection with download speeds of up to 300 Mbps and upload speeds of up to 75 Mbps. Thanks to this download speed, passenger will be able to use a video chat, a high-definition radio and mobile TV functions.

Additionally, the E-Class will be available in the new E 220 BlueTEC 4MATIC modification. The company was coy on details but said the model has a diesel engine with 170 HP (125 kW) and 400 Nm, powering the four wheels.
