Interesting. The exterior looks a lot like the last generation Mazda 6. At first glance, that interior looks nice, but upon closer inspection, the design seems to be pulled from a full size truck and downscaled for a car. Why the 5 inch nav screen when everything else on the dash is so HUGE?

Overall, a definite design improvement though

Looks like a Tesla Model S and the new Chevy impala had a baby and it came out all wrong.

To be honest I like it and hope it does well for Chrysler. Obviously a major improvement over the outgoing. Doesn't bother me it shares a similar profile to the aforementioned Mazda6 and new Avalon for that matter. It'll probably be tech laden and have the latest powertrains, hopefully that 3.2L V6 but then most cars in it's class are going turbo 4 lately. We'll see

Did anyone see the interior shot? Granted it does not have the navigation screen, but that is simply ridiculous. This is exactly why american cars can't gain appeal. I wonder at what point in the board room did they think it was okay for the air vents to be that much larger than the infotainment screen.

Are we 100% positive this is a navigation screen and not just a multi-media display? Lexus's MMD's aren't that much bigger than this

I think it would look better if the surrounding area were designed better. It just looks tacky and disproportionate. Bring it out flush with the rest of the center stack and make the vents smaller or the screen bigger.

@ Hoovey, yeah I noted that it is not the navigation screen but what I am saying is that it looks like a 4 inch display. Even if its not that small, the huge bezel around it and the vents make it seem extremely small. I know the area is designed for the huge square display they are using now on their cars for navigation.

Interesting. Of course, factor in extra hype error due to the old car being at the bottom for years.
Also noticing the roofline and rear d-pillar area similar to the new Genesis.

Seems like the answer to that question is obvious. When it's freezing cold outside, or in the humid 90s, and you want to get comfortable as quickly as possible.
