hahahaha. this is for HER!!! i cant have all that performance stuff on the build sheet where she can see it. that gets delivered to my office and installed on the days i 'borrow' it.

seriously, tho....the options are the reason it has to be ordered. she will ONLY get a 6MT. and that makes me proud to call her my wife. BUT...she wants a sunroof, as well. finding a manual transmission WITHOUT the carbon fiber roof is damn near impossible. finding a manual without the CF roof in mineral grey WITHOUT the sakhir orange interior? forget it!!!

other than that...its relatively simple. the Executive Package (she likes the headlamp washers...smh), the 19" wheels in black, extended black leather with the CF interior trim. may upgrade to the HK. we saw no need for the Lighting Package or the adaptive suspension. a guy on bimmerpost bought the CCB's because they dust less. shhhhhheeeeeit.....i'll save that $8K and invest in some Iron-X.

an idea that i saw....a guy got the Mineral Grey and wrapped it with a satin film. voila!!!! Frozen Grey!!!!

im driving a pristine 1999 acura integra!!!! hahahahah

i had the ISF but i think it was cursed so i sold it back in november. made sense since i drove it maybe once or twice a month. my office is .9 miles away from the house so it hasnt been a big deal. i told her we can get her car and then see whats left over in the budget for me.

i'll more than likely get back in to an ISF. i loved that car but the one i had just had too many lil problems....

They are everywhere now, it looks awesome, much more aggressive then the E9X! I am sure it drive fantastic too.

Only down side is the missing 2 cylinders with a mask over it''s mouth (turbo), I heard one a few days ago with a loud exhaust and it sounds like a farting (dual clutch) truck

Very aggressive yes! Some interior refinements too over the E90, upgraded materials. I was able to sample an M4 back to back with the RC F back in November for Lexus's Running of the Bulls, but never had any extended seat time beyond that with the M4. The track (really just an AutoX) itself was biased towards the RC F so it was hard to extract the BMW's capabilities. The DCT transmission was superb though I agree the 'bark' from the I6 is just not as satisfying as the howl of the 4.0 rip

i am seeing tons of m4 and even some m3 around, indeed quite some presence. they caught my attention right away so i think they make it different enough from other regular 3 and 4 series.

so far i have only seen one rcf on the road and few rc350. personally, i think the m4 has better and more aggressive presence

I have a E92 M3 and with the exception of the sound/revs of the engine the new one is a great improvement in every way. There is something very special to winding the E92 out to 8K RPM's and hearing it shift.

I heard BMW is planning a station wagon for the M3.

That just put a smile on my face

Learn how to change the oil in your new BMW M4. BMW also recommends the Pennzoil Platinum SAE 5W-30 for the new M3/M4.

M's are not that uncommon and while they are very nice cars they are simply not worth that much. One can get a new Corvette with tons of speed and power and get it for $60,000. But the M is worht $20-30K more? Thats crazy.

however, if there are people here who just want to throw their money away, then more power to them; I guess its theirs to flush down the toilet.
Here we go again. compare American cars to German cars.. I drove both and i know...LOL.

For the "$20,000" more, you get higher quality, better service, better warranty. Bring your C7 into a dealership for an oil change and you get directed into a ****ty waiting area with zero amenities and you hope that the tech isn't in the back doing burnouts in your car. Or maybe you have to leave it overnight, so they don't give you a rental, and the tech takes it home and drives it and wrecks it, then the dealership doesn't want to own up to it. Sounds like a ZL1 story.

If you want to argue that, I'd only want to buy a used C7 and save even more money, then twin turbo it.

A base M4 is 65k with CF bits and NAV standard.
Not sure where ppl get 80-90k.
Also a regular C7 vette can be optioned out also to 80k+
