i have to agree with this.

c63 vs regular c
m3/4 vs regular 3/4
rs4/5 vs a/s4/5
isf vs regular is
rcf vs regular rc

for car guys, we can all tell the difference and admire the "ultimate" version. but to majority of the public? they all look about the same.

Just a shout-out
Even in a sea of 5 series cars out there, an M5 is still an M5 in my book

BMW's new M3 packs a turbocharged straight-six with massive power and a sweet exhaust note.

Especially true when you can add option packages on lower models that make them look even more similar

Matt Farah takes the BMW M4 on a very special road to address a topic that has caused intergalactic warfare among car enthusiasts: piping exhaust sounds through the stereo.

Default Possible BMW M340i M Performance spied for the first time

Click here to view more photos

Could be launched with the 3-Series facelift

A mysterious BMW 3-Series prototype has been caught on camera during tests in Spain.

The body of the vehicle looks similar to the 335i, but features upgraded brakes with yellow calipers. Currently, no variant of the 3-Series is available with those brakes as standard, which hints this could be a M340i M Performance version of the model.

According to Motor.es, the M340i M Performance will be powered by a new B58B30M0 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine with 365 - 375 HP (268 - 276 kW). It will likely join the 3-Series range in 2015, when the model will be facelifted. The M340i M Performance will compete against the Mercedes-Benz C450 AMG, set to be unveiled during the Detroit Motor Show in January 2015.

There is also a possibility this is the 340i version, rumored to replace the current 335i in 2015.

Default Matt Farah Says BMW M4’s Fake Engine Noise Doesn’t Matter

The new BMW M3 and M4 seem to have riled up quite a few people on the internet with their fake engine noise being pumped into the cabin.

They argue that it’s wrong to be piping in fake noise, when what they should actually be doing is making the car naturally louder.

Well, now Matt Farah as tried out a (manual) M4 for himself and he says it’s not a problem. He argues that the M3/M4 haven’t been given the system because they were not loud enough – the reason they got it was because the interior was just too refined and too little of the noise was penetrating the cabin.

He demonstrates this by cranking down the window and flooring it. Besides, if you’ve seen/heard a new M3 or M4 you’ll already know it really is quite loud, even if it’s still not the most pleasant noise in the world…

The lightweight, forged, Vossen Precision Series. The BMW M4. You might recognize this M4 from the VFS-1 dual M4 video and as soon as Zack (@Zackmoro) saw the VPS-310, he knew this was the next upgrade for his 2015 M4. Zach placed his order for VPS and in less than two weeks, had his new custom wheels from Vossen! Measuring 20x9.5 up front with a mid-concave profile and a 20x11 in the rear with a deep concave profile, the VPS-310 looks absolutely perfect on this "M" as we custom cut these forged wheels using industry leading techniques for the perfect fitment. In addition they are lighter thus offering less unsprung weight for better potential performance.

We shot this video in the famous "WynWood Arts District" thus all the original grafitti in the area. Zach decided to have some fun in this closed lot so you will see some sliding around in his lowered M4. In addition he has a tune for the twin turbo I-6 for added power and added a black grill and new side markers for a cleaner look. The best part though, those graphite forged Vossen Precision Series Wheels!
Be part of the team!
