Default Vorsteiner's Girth-y Special Edition BMW M4 GTRS4

Click here to view more photos

If you're into thick-bodied cars with slim waists, Vorsteiner has a little something for all you BMW M4 owners with its new limited edition GTRS4 package.

It was made to celebrate the tuning brand's 10th anniversary and will be displayed for the first time at the 2014 SEMA Show in Las Vegas (Nov. 4-7).

The package adds some serious girth around the front (4 in. or 102mm) and rear (7 in. or 178mm) fenders of the M4 Coupe together with matching bumpers and spoilers, all made from carbon fiber.

The car rides on beefy 20-inch wheels in a gloss brushed finish shod in 275-wide tires front and 345-wide rear, and has 90mm quad exhaust finishers. Adding to the stance, the GTSR4 gets KW Suspension’s sleeve kit that allows for height adjustment while keeping the original BMW Dynamic Drive features.

An ESS Tuning E-Tronic module gives the M4's straight-six turbo a power boost to 550hp at the crank.

The Special Edition GTRS4 Package Includes:
· Carbon Fiber Front Bumper with an Integrated Front Splitter Element
· Carbon Fiber Wide Front Fenders with Ventilation (2 inches wider each side)
· Carbon Fiber Aero Side Blade Elements
· Carbon Fiber Wide Rear Fenders (3.5 inches wider each side)
· Carbon Fiber Rear Bumper with an Integrated Rear Diffuser Element
· Vorsteiner 90mm Quad Exhaust Tip Finishers (Options: Brushed | Diamond Black)
· Vorsteiner Embroidered Colored Floor & Trunk Mat Set
· Vorsteiner Chrome Trunk Badging
· GTRS4 Forged 3-Piece Wheels, 20x10.5J | 20x13.5J in Gloss Brushed Shadow

Default Video: Motor Trend Compares the Lexus RC F & BMW M4

Motor Trend has published a new video comparing the Lexus RC F & BMW M4, and it’s fantastic from start to finish.

(Hard to fault anything in this video — it’s very matter-of-fact and even-handed. Really, the differences between the two cars seem so small, and that’s a victory for Lexus if you ask me.)

Here's a little sneak preview of an epic drift-off between the BMW M4 and Jaguar F-Type!

The M3 is the only car to actually scare me at the Motown Mile. Going around the fast final turn, the torque spikes and sends me into a long, lazy, 100-mph slide that I don't recover until well down the front straight. Forget this being a German Trans Am; it's a German Corvette. "This car is nightmarish to control under power," concurs Cammisa. "It's so much work, and there's no joy to be had as a result." Having driven the M3 before, on a larger track, I suggest that it needs a bigger venue to shine. Cammisa agrees

I just saw pics of the M Performance Exhaust system for the M3/M4 (someone posted pics on bimmerpost).

The ones for the M3/M4 made in-house by BMW (you can see the Made in Germany at the bottom) which differs from the M Peformance Exhaust System used for the M5/M6 (which are made by Akrapovic in Slovenia)

Saw an M3 in Silverstone Metallic last night on the freeway. Other than the protruding fenders it didn't give off the 'look at me' presence. Didn't give it a second look

Brian Cooley shows you why a 2015 M4 is the essence of a BMW hot rod.

The E30 is the only M3 that has the 'look at me' presence, all the other ones look like blahhhhh.

Is just relatively speaking.

The E30 M3 is the most radically styled compare to it's generic model's counterpart.......318i/325i.......etc.

The E36 M3 is the most mild, fenders are not even flared

To be fair this applies to MB, Audi, Lexus too.

There is not much styling wise separating regular model vs. their respective AMG, S/RS, F performance model.

99% of general public will not know a difference between RC350 Fsport vs RCF by looking at it.
