I barked about my CPO 2011 750LI when I had it since there were like 10 problems in 1 year of ownership.
But after more than 1 year of owning my new 750I and X1, I couldn't find one problem area to take it to the dealer. Kinda miss the days when I can try their different loaner models

So ya, it still a hit or miss when buying Germans.

Steve Sutcliffe has the keys to two very fast versions of the BMW 3-series: the 435bhp petrol BMW M3 and the 345bhp diesel Alpina D3. Should you satisfy your high-performance saloon cravings with a petrol or a diesel engine? Let's find out.

We wring out the new turbocharged BMW M3, code-named F80, around the Consumer Reports test track, debate how much fun it is on the street, and bemoan this particular M3's joy-sapping dual-clutch "automatic" transmission.

I saw an M3 on the highway last weekend and my jaw dropped. It is one mean-looking (and good-looking) sedan.
