i'm temporarily living in a place where there is no luxury dealers. no mb, bmw, audi, lexus, etc, etc.
this is definitely my #1 car that i would want to test drive when i go back to chi town.

I drove the new M3 back to back with my R8 and I can tell you it's not that much slower!!!!
We drove the M3 pretty mildy since it was not broken in but the thrust is pretty substantial. Not as fast as the R8 but with the added space and rear seats, it's PLENTY FAST for a sedan. I'm willing to say it's probably faster than the v8 R8, but not the v10.

That high revVing V8 in the last gen will be missed for the sound , but this new motor is a torque factory AND BUSINESS IS OPEN !!
i never worry about keeping the car in 2k rpm when i was trying to "rush"
