Not a fan of the neo-classic design…looks too much like a shrunken Camaro. Was hoping more along the lines of an S15 Sylvia…

I always liked the 510, but not feeling this at all. This is just flat out ugly. The only thing it has in common with the 510 is a generally similar body shape.

Also total LOL at the "jean fabric" seats. What were they thinking!?

This is a pure concept, and as already mentioned in the thread Nissan has made concepts before that have never come to production.

The talk of a new small sports car from Nissan has been on-going for over a decade. It's almost reached unicorn status like many of Honda's projects.

Nissan can't make any comparisons to the FR-S until they show a production car.

FR-S? Bland? LOL thanks for the laugh. Nice joke.

There's the making of a sweet little coupe here. I love it, especially the race spec version. If they can do a true performance coupe with a 6-speed manual (and no CVT) this should kill. Make it RWD and all the better especially if they can maintain those short front and rear overhangs. And to the poster above. Unicorn status? Please! Nissan has shown more commitment to sports cars than any other Japanese maker in the last 10 years. 370Z and GTR (you could also count the limited production Juke R as well) in evidence while Toyota only has the FRS (LFA doesn't count as it is under the Lexus nameplate) and Honda has, well, nothing really. If there is a business case for this you can be sure Nissan will build it.

Someone on another forum says it looks like the old Celica coupe.

I think the BRZ/86/FR-S looks great. It's all in the sales numbers. Last time I checked they are selling quite well.

From what I been reading this is a little smaller than the 86/FR-S/BRZ. This may complete with that upcoming rumored sub/baby 86 car.

Word is Nissan is looking to downsize the next Z "Z35" with a smaller 4 cycle and a lower MSRP. Thus making the new Z a better competitor to the 86/FR-S/BRZ.

I hope they don't water down the 370Z...its a damn nice car. They should just make it faster I hope they bring the Silvia (240sx) remake to the US....small 2L to compete against the FRS I was hoping they'd build a de-tuned GTR type car for around $60k but it never came around
