Spotted: Toyota's new fuel cell vehicle.
While taking a lunch break near the new DOT building in DC yesterday i stumbled across two of Toyota's new FC car. Although i didn't get a chance to talk with the folks, i did manage to snap a few pics as they began to drive off. BTW, in the white one were two hot *** chics.

Yes, a small typo on my part.
I got to take a quick static-look at one at the Washington, D.C. auto show on the test-drive circuit outside, but got to the show just a little too late that morning (the one day that it was at the show) to sign up for a test-drive.

The Toyota Mirai, Japanese for "future", is one of the first hydrogen fuel-cell vehicles to be sold commercially. James Riswick had a chance to drive it on the streets of New York during the 2015 New York Auto Show.

About the fueling issue of hydrogen. Some three years or so ago there was this special about alternative fuels and they had the President of Costco, Sam's club, Shell and others on there. Well the Shell President was confident hydrogen was a no go due to infrastructure cost. Then the President of Costco interrupted him and stated if a mfg can out with a hydrogen car he'd install at his cost fueling stations at every Costco tomorrow. Sam's club President agreed too. It was great to see big oil be called out and be shut down. It looks as though to take out our need for oil will be a concerted effort by multiple "fuels". Electric, hydrogen, natural gas(I know it still big oil but at least it's not crude & slightly cleaner) and???...
So be ready to perhaps see hydrogen fueling stations at your local Costco centers.

The Toyota Mirai offers a glimpse into the future of the hydrogen fuel cell vehicle. It's sized like a Camry, and drives like a regular car. With a 300-mile range, the Mirai represents an intriguing alternative to electric cars.
