Looks just as prototype-y and futuristic in the flesh as it did in press pics. AND I LOVE IT.

RC500-F? Hmm... That's a departure from how Lexus traditionally names their cars.

Unless it's F-Sport? Cause the F model should be "RC-F"

Lexus is doing us a favor by showing us how the car would look with lowering springs and wheel spacers

This is call "bait and switch", it looks amazing when they initially show it to you, making people really want it, then when they go buy it at the dealer, some people actually don't notice the 5 inches fender gap. They just know they want to buy the car they saw at the show and don't actually check what they are buying. It is amazing.

So you think people go to the dealer with the eyes closed and then they get offroad suv RC?

Thats pretty crazy thinking. And all of the manufacturers do it for their show cars.

I honestly believe the non enthusiast Lexus buyer won't notice the huge wheel gap differences between the show car and the car they are buying on the lot.

You are just thinking in terms of us enthusiasts, the percentage of us in the total pool is very tiny.

I agree, but Lexus is one of the biggest offender because Lexus slammed their show car extra low and their production car sit extra high.

Average buyer wont see these pics at all, they will see production car at the dealer.

And Lexus is definetly not the biggest offender as everyone does it, especially Germans. Quite few pics of their show cars with tied suspension.
