Haha, it should've come like that from the start.
If i see something similar to that for the refresh, some nice led tail lights and further refinements to the interior, I'd buy!. I don't think the GS F sport front end is currently aggressive enough.

I heard that that the Land Cruiser and Lexus LX 570 are receiving a facelift next year with an updated exterior + interior ( 2015 MY ) due around summer 2014..
Next gen LX + LC due in 2016 as a 2017 model.
Can anyone confirm this?

IS and RC really took this front and went with it. Really hoping the GS does too come refresh or GS F-Sport or F
Also anyone remember the LF-S Concept in 2005. Essentially one of the first precursor L-Finesse sedans. Would love to see Lexus slot a four-door coupe above the GS and below the LS to take on the A7, CLS and 6-Series Gran Coupe.

I wish they could go back to the clean & elegant L-finesse design language.

Update
Lexus is serious about shortening the product life cycles. The redesigned 2015 RX is coming sooner than later. Production may start as early as April and news/info in May with possible sales in June or July. Personally I haven't see any mules or spy shots, so let's see if this holds up. If so, Lexus isn't worried about NX/RC overlap or stealing the show from their own models. There is a meeting next week, which I hope to confirm or report more on this topic and Lexus's future. Stay tuned

Upgrades at Canadian plant gave them away. You can usually see when new model is coming out when they announced raise of capacity in a plant :-)))))))

Toyota's Canadian manufacturing arm says it's investing $100 million in its Cambridge, Ont., plant -- a move that will see it hire 400 workers.
The investment announced Tuesday will increase the production of the company's Lexus RX models, from 30,000 vehicles to 104,000 at the southwestern Ontario facility.

Toyota said it is targeting early 2014 for expanded Lexus production.

These cars are all great.
The RX Series is the greatest SUV'S ever made. BMW executives in America cries themselves to sleep because their X Series can't even compete. It's not even a rival.
My friend drives an RX 350 and it is the most wonderful SUV I ever seen.
The rankings for Luxury SUVS are
RX 350
Range Rover
Acura MDX
Infiniti SUVS
BMW X3./X5
I gotta give BMW some props though in that their SUVS seem to last a bit longer than their sedans.
Which is to say that instead of breaking down in 40,000 miles.. it might go 55,000.

If all you want to do is drive to the mall and not take more than 3-4 people with you then maybe.
If you actually need or want an SUV for what SUVs are good at....towing, even light offloading, ruggedness...then no. If you need to carry 6 people in addition to yourself then no.
Don't get me wrong the RX is a nice vehicle. I've driven them many times as loaners, and we looked at the RX before we got our Jeep a couple years ago. My issue with it though is it doesn't make a compelling argument for me over a sedan. If I'm going to buy an SUV...I want it to have a rugged edge and feel and look like I can take it down a rutted road to a campground or up a big grass hill or whatever when I'm in WV...or I want to be able to carry a bunch of people. So...I wouldn't buy an RX.
LOL, thats certainly not the case. The X5 and X3 have been VERY successful. They sell about 6k X3s and X5s a month...no reason to cry.

What you said could apply to other vehicles, however, this is not the case with the LC/LX.
I will give you a few examples;
60 series started production in 1980 and ended in 1989
80 series started production in 1989 and ended in early 1998.
100 series started production in 1998 and ended in 2007.
200 series started production in 2007 and if it follows the cycle, should end in 2016.
Facelift cycles do differ though between models..
2008 - 2011 200 series ( Pre-facelift )
2012-2014 200 Series ( Facelift #1 ) I understand in the US Toyota skipped the 2012 model year for a long 2013 while overseas it was different )
2015 - 2016? (Facelift #2 )
2017??? ( Next gen LC/LX, possibly unveiled in late 2016 - I remember reading earlier that Toyota is going to produce a hybrid version of the LC/LX in 2016. It would make sense for them to introduce it with the next generation models )
( Main rival Nissan Patrol just received a facelift for the 2014 model year ) and Toyota usually updates the LC the following MY)
Lots of talk about an updated LC/LX coming out int he next few months.
