Can they just grow a pair of *****???

Bring the Convertible RC, if it losses $$$$$ who cares, it will help bolster the brand's image!
Hell BMW has 2Series, 4Series, 6Series, M4 and Z4 CONVERTIBLES.
Audi has A/S5, TT, R8
MB has C,E, SL, SLK
Even Infinity has one - G37/whatever Q it is now
I don't necessarily agree with you.

Lexus should make a convertible because they are passionate to put one on the market, because they are satisfying a need and not a want. I felt the IS-C was too basterdized, it appeared as if Lexus needed a two door in their line-up so they pulled one out of the hat even though there were no real plans or passion to put out a two door Lexus at the time. Sales of the IS-C were slow, nobody wants to buy a product not even the brand is passionate about.

So Lexus should only respond to needs, not want? Do people at all need a Lexus then? or they would die if they were in a Toyota?

Following needs, Lexus would have to build 20 more SUV, but do people really need SUVs? I doubt that.

Precisely. And Lexus is one to usually measure twice err three times, and cut once. They have a method to their madness albeit painfully slow to bring their awesome creations to fruition

Agreed the IS C seems to be buying Lexus time for now but MY15 should be it's last year

Exactly! In 2014 we got the NX, RC and RC F. It appears for 2015 we'll get the RX, GS, GS F and LX. No mention of the LS. Most likely 2016 the next generation LS will arrive...

Refreshed LX makes no sense. Should be new gen. LX. It already has been refreshed. But I think new gen. would be rather 2016.

I was at the local Lexus dealer yesterday and i was told the LX is getting updated this year (MY2016 ) with a more comfortable and luxurious interior and updated exterior design. Not a new generation but a heavy facelift. Lets wait and see...
Also on a few Chinese websites they had a list of vehicles being updated by Lexus this year and LX was mentioned as one of the vehicles..as well as it being mentioned in one of the US Lexus dealer meetings a few months ago

LX is getting released for the first time in Japan under the LEXUS name which means staff manuals could possibly leak on the web prior to release....
My guess is the on the exterior the LX will get the seperated DRL from the main lights like on the new Lexus vehicles as well as a full spindle grille and updated rear lights.

Possible hybrid and diesel for some markets as well as permanent supercharged variant in the LX range.

Actually exterior extensive facelift and new interior is enough for LX. It is the only true luxury offroad car out there, with the G-Wagen.

Agree. LX/LC, G-Wagon and RR (Except Evoque) are the only Luxury Offroad Trucks in the market. Can't leave out RR.

Except Range Rover quality ranking consistently at the bottom, though I think they look the best in this segment inside and out ...
