very glad to hear that toyota (lexus) is being more aggressive and shortening the model cycle, this is a great way to keep things fresh and make the brand more aggressive. way to go

Is there any word on the next LS yet? Now that the S-class is out and BMW's next-gen 7-series prototypes are running around I'm anxious to see what Lexus is going to counter with.

Toyota/Lexus seems to know a thing or two about keeping their products hidden. Not sure how they do it

I've heard nothing except "it makes some sense to do a F model for anything RWD"….

I'm a little let down by the limited information gathered from this meeting

- 2015 is not a full redesign, just early production to start in Canada around April. All RX's except Fire Agate color to be produced in Canada
- Nothing on 5LS
- LX will largely soldier on at least two years
- NX starting around $37K base, typically optioned with Navigation around $42K

The Cambridge Plant is not set-up to apply this color. Must be an interesting process

Thank you, Hoovey .
I expect a new LX to be unveiled late 2016 or sometime in 2017. I'm still keeping an eye out for the 2015 LX/LC, i expect a minor update, we will see how that goes.
Also, isn't the GS getting a full spindle for 2015MY?
I'm really looking forward to the next gen LS as well.

I'd like to see Lexus create a 370Z/Cayman car. I'd like a reliable 2 seater with a good interior and all around good driver car. No 4 cylinders please

I'm surprised about NX's pricing...$37k base is pretty high for a Rav4-based CUV, not to mention that RX starts south of $40k. I personally think NX should be a few grand cheaper, more like $33-$34k. Putting NX and RX within $3k of each other is a bad move, IMO. I can see where a nicely optioned AWD NX will be touching $50k. No thanks.

I do think it makes sense for the next RX to be a 2016 model, as that gives Lexus time to introduce and market the NX solo, so it's not competing too directly with the RX, which I'm sure Lexus is already kind of worried about.

Nothing on 5LS doesn't surprise me. The LS has always been Lexus crown jewel and I bet they're staying tight lipped on that one until the very last moment. The current model is still selling well too, so it has a little more life.

I expected LX to soldier on with few changes. Not surprised.
