Apple does have dealers. They are just contacted to sell the Apple products at the contracted price.
Toyota or Lexus controls the retail as well, only authorized dealers can sell the products. The only difference is that Toyota let's dealers sell for whatever they want.

We had fixed pricing before with Saturn.

And Lexus controlled the sale of who could sell the LFA did they not?

For the Toyota and Lexus divisions, yes, but Scions have always had a Saturn-style system of deals where it is list-price (and factory-approved accessories, if equipped), dealer-processing-fee (if applicable), state/local tax...and that's it. No markups...no discounts.

As usual? Tmg is just now partnering with Toyota motor. Instead of the tmg branding, their expertise will be combined into future products. Not sure your point, but all signs point to this happening.

I would assume an RX 350 F sport? Nice...all your Lexus models are F sport...

I had a little seat time today in a LS460 2014 model. I think the new 460 is the best Lexus ever made. I'm only referring to the 13-14 model years. Styling and dash of the 07-12 was nothing great.

I can't wait to see what Lexus does with the LS. I think the current one is a luxury masterpiece.

I agree as well. I got an LS loaner about a week ago and it's an amazing car...

The good news is the 2015 (which is SUPER early) has a cabernet interior option with the F-sport option.

What is there to share? He was talking about the appeal of the dealerships and the brand experience. That is what he is least impressed about with BMW. There was no mention of the cars and driving experience.

Why just confine the red interior to the F-Sport? That is not just something I'm just blaming Lexus on, BTW, as most manufacturers, IMO, are far too restrictive in their interior colors, usually just offering ranges of gray/black and ivory/beige/tan/brown.

She replied and explained herself. No need to pursue it any further.

(LexsCTJill, is female, BTW, not male as you suppose).

A red interior is a very sporting one thus it does make sense to offer it with the F-sport. Would it be great to see it offered along all lines? Yes.

The red interiors in the IS/GS have sold very well and Lexus has gotten the feedback and as Hoovey said, expect to see more soon.

I remember, back in the 60s and 70s, you could get even econobox compacts with red, green, blue, gold, burgundy, tan, black, and sometimes even white interiors.(with a choice of sometimes over 20 exterior colors).....although white interiors were usually reserved for sporting or luxury models. So, obviously, somewhere along the way, the bean-counters got the upper hand.
