Even Q7 doesnt have a lot of space in 2nd row, but it is truck based so we there is a technical reason for it.

Well Audi has never been known for being the best or near the best at packaging. I think Audi is average at best in terms of vehicle packaging. I'm quite sure Benz and BMW overall have better packaging in their vehicles.
