Default It's good to be back! I formally present to CL Beauty and the Beast

I "tried" to replace the LX with a 2013 4dr Wrangler and oh my god those things are an abomination, I have no idea how Chrysler is allowed to actually sell them! How is it possible that a brand spanking new car can be such a POS? My 17 year old LX blows it out in every way, which is exactly why I've decided to keep my tank.

But I do owe my sales guy a beer or several, the Lexus dealership gave me more for the Heep than I paid for it! I brought the LXTank's little cousin home and I think they look damn good together!

Withour further adu I present:

Congrats Francis, nice pickup!

1sick is still around (changed his screen name to blueprint)
Sasha hasn't been online in quite some time (LexusRules); he got into drifting and Nissan in a big way, last I heard from him he owned a shop and was doing some professional driving in Canada.

From the title and the location of this thread, I thought you were going to say you recently got married and would post a picture of yourself and your mate.

all things assuming you were single, I dont even know your background. lol

Thanks fellas, those Beauty and the Beast pics will be up in June!

Daveeeeeeee what's up brother! Nice to hear sick is still around it wouldn't be CL without him, yea I remember the last time I talked to Sacha he was talking about how the GS is too heavy and the 200 was a better platform. Good for him, happy to hear he's doing what he loves!

Congrats on the GS, its an amazing vehicle, we love ours. Saw you posting around the 4GS forum, glad you are back. Many of the O.Gs have moved on and things are quite different today than in the past but as you can see I'm still here.

Lower that bad boy

WTF is blueprint?!?!

Nice to see you still around buddy, yea it seems like CL is a lot more subdued. I can think of a couple reasons for that but no need to discuss!

Oh by the way, that's 1 sick lex.

Quite simply it's Jeep's loyal fan base. If they dare change the formula people will stop buying them in droves and complain to high heaven.

Congrats on your purchases.

Nice to see you still killen em bit, been a while!

Yea it's funny those things are junk right off the assembly line! You go over to the Jeep forums to find solutions to these glaring design flaws and problems and they just say "hay man it's a jeep gotta love it hardy har har".

What a joke!

welcome back buddy. Congrats on the car.

I have been saying for years here that the Jeep is the worst car I have ever had the total displeasure of driving. My moms old Datsun Station wagon had a better tranny and more power. The only thing it did well was to suck at being a good car and it had an amazing turning radius . When I see people in them on the street I laugh because I know the thrill is gone . Especially when you see these women in them with their young kids. So many better options than a Jeep.

My manager just dropped his Xterra for a 4-Door Rubicon. He absolutely loves it. LX450, old school
