Default 2nd Gen GS Crash in Bklyn

Sharing just because of the picture, wow.

That she even survived at all is amazing;

A woman is in critical condition after the car she was riding in crashed in Brooklyn, authorities said.

The 33-year-old victim, whose name has not been released, was riding in the passenger seat of a 1999 Lexus going westbound on Atlantic Avenue, near Pennsylvania Avenue, in East New York, around 3 a.m., Sunday, police said.

The Lexus turned left and hit a 1997 Volkswagon that was moving east on Atlantic Avenue, cops added.

The Lexus spun out of control and hit a light-pole on the northwest corner of the intersection, seriously injuring the passenger, police said.

The woman was taken to Brookdale Hospital, along with the 31-year-old man who was driving. He was listed in stable condition, according to police.

The driver and passengers in the Volkswagon refused medical attention at the scene, officials said.

It’s not clear whether alcohol or speed played a role in the crash, police said.

This picture probably looks worse than what happened, since emergency response crews already cut off the roof to get people out. That intersection is nasty too, with very worn out pavement, making it easy to lose traction.

I really hope she pulls though.

And now that that's been said...what's with the blacked-out SC430 "pie plate" wheels?

Usually the first thing an SC430 owner does is get rid of those things. I guess we now know what happens to them after we throw them away.

Oh of course it looks worse.

My eyes are hurting just from all the mods- plastidipped hood, spoiler, and SC wheels.
The roof that was cut away was probably plastidipped too.

I imagine you'd have to be driving pretty fast to wrap around a pole like that.

Amazing the passenger survived
