Reminds me of one of those Russian road videos. Blind drivers, driving to fast and any other myriad of driving errors.

the car is designed to seperate like that in an accident. You can do that a lot easier on a 2 seater rear engine car, not much so on a 4-5 seater front engine car

The driver of the dark sedan was clearly at fault. It looked like the Lambo might have been going a touch fast, but no way they were going "100 mph". Nonsense. And it was white too. Plenty of contrast with the road. What an idiot (the dark sedan driver).

That's how I saw it too. The sedan cut into his lane. Lambo may have been speeding but the sedan still cut into his lane.

What if the Lamborghini driver punched the throttle just prior to the sedan committing to the left turn (I.e. the sedan driver felt the Lamborghini was a sufficient distance away to make the turn but was not, due to the ability of the Lamborghini to accelerate)?

Also, who would take the bet that the police would side with the Lamborghini driver?

I couldn't make out if the Sedan was signalling? That's terrible; there is fault on both sides for sure. Lambo going too fast and Sedan not signalling + not gauging that the Lambo oncoming would more than likely be speeding.

I've been in a similar situation but no accident; had a mini-van full of kids + a trunk load of stuff pull in front of me on a 50 mph road and drove like walking speed. It was a 2 lane road and for some reason, the person on the right lane panicked and slammed on the brakes too. With me slamming on the brakes as well, that put me right next to the guy on the right. Right before almost rear-ending the mini-van, I pulled into the center divider and nearly took out a street sign.

I can't see the Lambo punching it as the sedan was making a turn but I cans see your point.

Most likely, and I am speculating here, Lambo was speeding. Sedan was unable to judge the speed of the Lambo and felt there was enough space and time to make the turn. Watching the video it is difficult for me to judge how fast the Lambo was going. In this case I can see the Lambo being at fault. Lambo should be at fault no matter what if it was truly going 100+ MPH.

I see it all the time with motorcycles. Cars will turn in front of a bike because they are unable to judge the speed of the bike and bikes accelerate quick. Hell it also happens with trains and cars.

still the mazdas fault whether or not the lambo was speeding, it didnt look excessive speeding. The car is highly visible from where the mazda was. Failure to yield right of way

Stupid impatient sedan driver

He couldn't wait another 5 seconds for the lambo to clear to make the left turn

Just like all CA drivers here

I really hope the judge see's that the sedan is at fault. Yes the lambo was speeding, but that wasn't the cause of the accident.

Hopefully there's no bias against owning a Lamborghini...
