I thought that Lambo had corrected the engine bbqing issue? Interesting vid nonetheless.

for that top speed record to be legit, i thought your car can't catch fire?

It not only can't catch fire but you have to turn around and repeat the run within a short period of time. The average speed of the two runs is the official top speed. But that's for official top speed records like they do at the salt flats.

This is why i laugh when tuners think they are smarter than real automotive engineers that understand the words tolerance, reliability, streetability and repeatability. The Lambo had to be pushed to the line for Gods sake. Your not taking that thing to dinner

I think it's pretty well understood that when you're pushing over 2000hp through a "light-duty" drivetrain that you might only get a run or two out of it.
