Gulf Spec LEXUS LX 570 S 2014
2014 models have just started arriving to the ports of many GCC countries and the LX and LC are always the most eagerly awaited models due to their popularity.
The LX gets a body kit ( optional ) LEXUS LX 570 S ( rumor has it the S versions actually have the TRD supercharger and will have a limited production run ( maybe if they sell alot they'll keep making them - if this is true it would have around...- 500 + hp .) As soon as i can confirm this i will report back to this thread.

Yes. The 5.7 was introduced in the 2011 MY ( in mid 2010) for the GCC market, and the twin turbo diesel ( less hp and torque than the European version) has been available since late 2007 . A single turbo 4.5 v8 diesel 5 speed manual is available with and without an inter cooler ( the latter introduced in early 2012 on the poverty pack barn door model )
The 5.7 in the GCC is detuned compared to the US version with 362 hp on both the LX and LC, compared to 383 for the LX and 381 for the LC in the US.

Lexus Champion
Wow Lexus LX with more juice.
So we have:
-LX460 (for Hong Kong)
-LX570 regular
-LX570 S (with rumored power increase)
Damn that's epic
P.S.
Land Cruiser 200 has TONS of model variants:
AX, GX, GX-R, VX, VX-R, TX.......up to the ZX (which is the highest model grade in Japan Domestic Market).
What's the difference between all those model variants? Which is the highest?

As for TX, i have not yet seen any TX badged 200 series Cruisers, i thought TX was saved only for the Prado?
In other parts of the world you get
GX
VX
Different names but specs available are fairly similar the placement of the specs obviously depends on the model grade ( base/mid/top)
In the lower spec models you usually have - No Nav, no KDSS, no Crawl/turn assist, basic speedometer and interior, no cool box, and even key start in the lowest poverty pack version . Mid range you might have some of the top spec model specs while still have some more basic options, and of course the top spec version has the best specs. Japan/Europe usually gets the highest specs because they don't sell the LEXUS LX, so the LC gets all the LX goodies.
I prefer the Middle East specs, you get a lot of variation, from poverty pack models to models with near Lexus specs.

why wont they bring these models or spec model to the US market. We buy more Lexus vehicles than anyone else I thought. Japan get the crazy interior options and Saudi get the spec vehicles with more power and better looks

Nothing confirmed yet about the supercharger...i would have thought it would be an F as well.
It would be interesting to see if it turns out to be true, because while they it is the best selling Luxury 4wd in the GCC, it is facing strong competition from the new Range Rover...which has you can get with a supercharger. I'm sure an LX with a supercharger would sell in the GCC. As for me i'm an N/A GUY...no forced induction for me. ( Judging by the way the car industry is heading, i'm afraid i might have no choice at one point ).
