A mysterious, high-performance version of the Mercedes-AMG GT has been spied at the Nürburgring.
Looking decidedly aggressive, the prototype features an aerodynamic body kit that includes a front splitter, canards and a prominent rear wing.
These styling tweaks seem to suggest the model could be a Black Series prototype but AMG CEO Tobias Moers has already said that particular variant is still a ways off. This implies the prototype could actually be the mysterious "nice" variant that will be launched within the next year and half.
Moers didn't have much to say about the model but he implied it would be a street-legal version of the Mercedes-AMG GT3 which recently debuted at the Geneva Motor Show. He also hinted the model would be lighter than the GT S and produce approximately 550 PS (404 kW).

At the first Formula One Grand Prix of the season in Australia the new Mercedes-AMG GT S will debut on the race track as the Official Safety Car. Safety car driver Bernd Mayländer takes a sneak peak at the new safety car.
