The double-image front bumper is a disaster. How can having a duplicate image of the same thing be a good design choice? Did they just say, "oh hell, lets just repeat the upper bumper as the lower bumper and grab some beers." I'm reminded of the Lampoons Truckster overdone front lights.
Rest of the body is slick and attractive. Dumb name though.

Well I thought I hated the Cayenne. I hate this nonsense 110% more, because its "value priced" You can buy a base v6 Cayenne right at 50k, but most models sell in the 60-100k range depending on options, engine, etc.
This POS has to be priced below 60k IMO, and like any Porsche, its going to be short on options for the price point. My magic eight ball is predicting a naturally aspirated weak sauce petrol VW 4 cylinder, the typical 2.0 turbochaged VW GTI motor, two different displacement turbodiesel options, and perhaps as top of the line the 3.0 supercharged v6 Audi engine.
Honestly I can see somebody optioning up one of these overpriced Tiguan turd buckets to 60k with that big turbo diesel option.
I don't know how it will play out in the United States, but most Cayenne sales on continental Europe were not the high performance v8 and turbo v8 versions, over 2/3rds were the economical turbodiesel version.
And as a matter of fact, in the used market in Europe, you cannot give away a petrol v6 or v8 saloon car or SUV. The diesel versions hold their value so much better.

They look HORRIBLE. As a result, the 1st gen Cayenne looks MUCH better.
