I too am intrigued.
Lexus needs to execute this correctly.
It simply cannot be a gussied Rav4. Just like the Highlander and RX which are greatly differentiated (like the Prius/CT, but much more than the Camry/ES), this new Lexus model needs to exude luxury and innovation.
Dress it well, price it right, and it will sell easily.

I hope they scale back the grill a little bit on this model. We traded in our RX400h for a GLK and want to go back to a hybrid for the MPG. However, if the Lexus grill is ridiculous, then we will wait on the next gen GLK diesel.
