Above pics are 7 series spy shots. The 5 has less chrome/bling, different door design and seats.

it will reveal in 2 days. Which I, looking forward to the next M5.

It doesn't look bad. But it certainly is a hodgepodge of 3 and 7.

"Since this is a 5 series, 2 less than 7, lets remove half of the hockey stick"
"Ja, good idea"

Tail lights are a bit oversize, imo.

More differentiation than Benz though.

It definitely looks more like a 3 and a 7. Agreed tail lights are too big. And this unconfirmed pics have weirdly shaped exhaust tips

F10 looked much better imo.

Hate the oversized grill, headlights and tailights.
At least it looks better than ne Eclass.

Yawn. Looks absolutely mellow. With the exception of 2 series, BMW lost me.

Ohh my, headlights and tails are too similar as my X6M, but overall it's a nice looking car.

M treatment will make it look good for sure.

The forum members at Bimmerpost confirmed that this is the 7er, not the new 5er. Better photos: http://g30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1312390

I'm a long-time BMW fan and even have an E90 I keep in pristine condition. While I felt that the F10 5-series looked great inside and out, the driving experience did not match the badge on the hood which was very unfortunate. I hope the G30 is a little better in that regard.

I was concerned that the interior of the G30 would be very conservative and boring like that of the new 7-series, but based on spy shots it looks more interesting and flashy which I'm glad about. I knew it'll look nice from outside, the F10 is already a beautiful design so there is no reason why the G30, expected to be an evolutionary design, would not look good. I don't know how accurate those renders are, but the tail lights do look a bit out of proportion. However I think it'll continue being the best looking car in its class. Everybody agrees that while the new E-class is a great car, the exterior design is very hum-drum, as is the A6. The 5-series has always looked sporty which is a big factor in its popularity.

So far, I'm pleased with what I see, but please BMW inject your DNA back into the 5-series this time around.

Those aren't renders, I posted the real thing. I was able to confirm those are pictures of a 540i.

Tango, thank you! Your picture solve the only gripe I had with the front from the leaked rendering.

The headlights from yours looks just right while the rendering just plain weird.
