One of the bosses at Genzyme had an 850 and it was shweet

Once the extended warrantee was over he dumped it ASAP

The car integrated electronics and if something went wrong in the door handle you had big problems

His car had issues with the dash going dark as well

The guy in the video had the 840, which was the 8 cylinder that came out later and was supposed to be easier to own

One of my finance professors in undergrad had an 840i. He was a d-bag but the car was in pristine condition

I really hope they bring back the 8 series. It was a very impressive car back in the day when I was a kid. The fact that it could be had with a V12 made it that much more respectable. With the introduction of the gran Lusso conceot I am hoping that they will be coming out with an 8 series to compete with the CL class benz. BMW needs a coupe the size of the 7 series.

Absolutely my favorite BMW ever! Last week some guy at my dealership pulled up in a red 850CSI. That was the first CSI I've ever seen in person. Good thing he wasn't trading it in, otherwise I might have thought about buying it.

As a young car enthusiast it was very exciting to see one of these on the streets. It represented the pinnacle of coupe design for that period. It was so beautiful and rare. The rarity only gave it a bit of mystique and legendary status, although it wasnt insanely powerful

I still remember seeing these cars matched up with the original deep dish MK motorsport wheels, it was insane.
