2014 IS 350 F-sport vs 2013 GS 350 F sport (both white/red)

Pole Position
I've always liked the 4GS design but if I'm being honest, seeing the 3IS in the flesh really blew me away.
The best I can describe it is like this :
The new IS in F-Sport trim is a piece of art on wheels. It doesn't look like something that came out mass produced from a robotics factory but a piece of sculpture personally and lovingly hand-carved by an artisan. The small details in the surfacing of the front and sides look almost impossible to have been created by a machine.
Slap on a coat of Ultrasonic Blue Paint on an F-Sport IS and it may well be the most eye-catching (in a good way) sedan in the parking lot.
My dream combination would be a GS with its F-Sport interior, the 8 speed from the IS350 RWD, the LFA gauges and the IS F-Sport front and sides. All wrapped in Ultrasonic Blue paint.

I'm ok with the front of the IS.
It's everything from the rear doors back that still looks awkward. It makes it look detached from the wheel.
I wonder when the fast shifting 8 speed will be put into the GS. Seems unfair the IS gets the toys.
I'm surprised they took away the smoky granite color.

that blue one just needs tires with 1 to 2 sizes more side wall.

So new IS F Sport seats are even better than the the 16 way GS seats? Impressive! It does seem so far reviews absolutely love the new IS seats, just like the 4GS seats. I heard the 16 way GS seats are very very good seats. What about the non-F Sport 18 way 4GS seats? I've heard those are absolutely superb, and it seems many reviews have praised those seats very highly.
Would you expect the 18 way seats to appear in the next-gen LS? Or could there be something more?

THe 18 way luxury seats in the GS are superb and unlike the F-sport both seats have 18 way.
One thing I wish the IS offered was leg extensions even if they are manual like the A4/S4/Q50/maxima etc.

What exactly are those 2-8 additional ways to adjust your seat?

Seats are different in design from my understanding. The F-sport is 16 way drivers seat only. I honestly am not sure of what the other 2 settings are.

The IS has the nu-luxe which seems to conform to the body better than the harder leather (still soft but not like fake leather lol). I was surprised how comfy they were. Now I haven't driven the IS for extended periods where you get fatigue.

Have yet to sit in a non F sport IS yet, I hope to soon.

I feel you on that but we are taller than your average bear. Im still getting used to the grille. One of the reasons I love my LS so much is that seat extension feature. Its the first car I have ever owned where I feel like I actually fit in the car like I am supposed to
