Great comparison. I'd be happy with either honestly.

SRT vs AMG. Has a nice ring to it

Yea I was also surprised, must be that dual clutch automatic transmission. But in reality, there is about 200k difference in price, so not surprised AMG won.

I thought Viper stock tires suck, that's why SRT upgraded the tires on their more extreme trim.

One thing I just realized, this was a SRT Viper not a special edition. If this SLS were just a SLS and not a Black Series, the Viper would have crushed it.

I'd like to see how well that SLS Black Series would fair against a special edition like the SRT Viper GT3-R (yes I know it's not street legal)

I think 2014 Viper Time Attack trim would be enough to go head to head with SLS Black Series.

Uh...how do you figure? Aside from MotorTrend being hellbent on trolling the Viper's existence, I think this car really held its own considering it was going against a car that cost $200k more.

I am just figuring the practicality of it all, not performance. Just like the video points out, awkward pedal shapes, excessive heat coming from the exhaust that is also creating some sort of liquid from the paint.

Gotcha. Those are things I completely expected were going to happen before the Viper even came out. The budget constraints on the Viper program coming out of bankruptcy were ridiculous. I'm actually surprised this car exists at all.

Temp went down by 20 degree, They really did something with really tight budget.
