That concave grille just gives such an impression of meekness, as if the car has no problem moving out of the way for you - contrast to any grille with straight lines that projects a more confident look.
If that's how the new G looks, Infiniti/Nissan can say goodbye to their only big selliling model.

I agree with you. The G35 saved Infiniti and they do the disservice of killing off its name with 2 generations behind it. I'm really hoping the back seats of the new IS350 are serviceable....i think it may look a lot better than the new Q...
New IS and New Q50 debuting on 1/14 at the show. Can't wait.
Don't you just love competition? Those two are going to define the entry luxury class. Ok I am going on a rant here but I never understood people going for 3 or C-class over IS and G. Rant done
If imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, BMW says thanks Infinite!
You got it. The headlights will look like the E60 ones, except goofier.
I can already feel this is going to have some goofy styling like the current Infiniti M. I think Infiniti have totally lost it.

I wouldn't care if the Nissan GTR were called the Nissan BBQ.
People would still go ape**** over it.
The problem is, all signs indicate this new "G" or whatever they call it is going to look goofy, and on top of that have a goofy name. A goofy name plus goofy styling is a guaranteed disappointment in the market.
I'd love to be wrong on the styling part, but I have a feeling I won't be. We'll see soon enough.
