It appears that Pagani still isn't willing to let the Zonda die as they continue to receive many orders from extremely wealthy customers who want a one-off version designed just for them. The latest iteration of the Zonda is called "760 LM" and features a bare carbon fiber body finish together with a prominent roof scoop and a huge rear diffuser.
If there's a demand why not

Is the sounds...............that screaming NA V12 is one of the best sounding street engine next to the C-GT, LFA and 599 GTO.

The turbos dulled the scream in the Huayra.

Default Pagani Zonda Tricolore plays its 670 bhp V12 7.3 AMG song [video]

Based on the Zonda Cinque

Our friend Marchettino had the chance to ride shotgun in a rare Pagani Zonda Tricolore.

The Tricolore is one of Pagani's many special versions of the Zonda and even though it was originally conceived as a one-off tribute to the Italian National Aerobatic Team, it ended up being built in three examples. All of them are based on the Zonda Cinque but with a clear blue lacquer (polish) coating as well as other styling tweaks which jacked up the price to 1.3M EUR back in 2010 when the car came out.

Its heart and soul is AMG's mighty V12 7.3-liter naturally aspirated engine pushing out 670 bhp (500 kW) and 780 Nm (575 lb-ft) wrapped up in a body weighing just 1,210 kg (dry). Featuring a six-speed robotized sequential gearbox, the Zonda Tricolore sprints to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 3.4 seconds, to 124 mph (200 km/h) in 9.6 seconds and can hit a top speed of 220 mph (354 km/h).

For this video, Marchettino installed an external microphone next to the exhaust to better hear the soundtrack provided by the twelve cylinder AMG motor.

Default Pagani Zonda still alive and kicking, one-off 760RSJX announced

Click here to view more photos

Delivered in Hong Kong

Pagani has taken the wraps off yet another one-off Zonda, this time called "760RSJX" and previously known as the 760X.

When Pagani introduced the brutal Zonda Revolucion back in June last year they said it's the last ever Zonda but that proved to be a false statement as several one-offs emerged, including the 760 LM. Now, a customer in Hong Kong took delivery of another unique Zonda called 760RSJX. It's based on the 760 series Zondas so it packs the same V12 7.3-liter naturally aspirated engine outputting 760 HP (559 kW).

What sets this one-off apart is the special pant job which reminds us of the Zonda Uno from 2010, another one-off which at that point was believed to be the last Zonda ever. As for the interior, the overall theme matches the body's hue and we also notice an extensive use of carbon fiber.

Talk about pure the Huayra is made only of carbon fiber, titanium, carbontanium, aluminum and leather and iirc around 4000 parts make up the car. The way the intake ducts were placed behind and off to the side of the driver so say the window is down an epic sound from the spooling turbos and a thunderous AMG V12. Special is an understatement

After listening to some vintage V12 Formula 1 cars, I'd have to agree. I'd really like to hear a Zonda with no mufflers, open headers.

The video doesn't work.

It is very simple, just look at F1, the pinnacle of engine sound, compare their turbo engine to their NA engine. If F1 can't make a turbo motor sound good, no one can. Street motor is just child's play compare to F1.

The Zonda Revolucion is pretty much that, it is so raw.

Default Zonda still alive as Pagani prepares one-off 760 Roadster with manual gearbox [video]

Zonda seems to be immortal

Pagani has recently built another one-off Zonda, this time a 760 Roadster equipped with a manual gearbox.

It seems Pagani isn't quite ready yet to retire the Zonda as there are still many interested in buying the mental supercar. The Zonda Revolucion unveiled in June 2013 was supposed to be the final version ever but customer demand has "forced" Pagani keep the model alive and now Tim Burton aka Shmee150 is giving us a tour of the latest gem, a Zonda 760 Roadster fitted with a manual transmission.

The video was recorded at London detailer Topaz where the supercar was pampered with a clear protective film before being shipped to the owner who lives on another continent. Shmee150 says that Horacio Pagani himself visited Topaz to make sure everything runs smoothly.

We remind you that all Zonda 760s come with AMG's 7.3-liter V12 naturally aspirated engine pushing out 760 HP (559 kW). The car also gets a variety of upgrades from the track-only Zonda R which lapped the Nurburgring in just 6:47.
