Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG Coupe dialed to 850 PS by Voltage Design

Voltage Design has prepared a comprehensive customization package for the Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG Coupe.
It's hard to imagine an S63 AMG Coupe owner who would be willing to mess around with Mercedes-Benz's design but apparently Voltage Design has created a styling kit for such a niche. They developed a carbon fiber package encompassing the radiator grille (including logo), front spoiler, front apron wings, hood air inlets, mirror caps, side skirts, diffuser and tailgate spoiler. At an additional cost, the entire hood and grille can be made from the same lightweight material.
There's also a considerably upgrade for the V8 5.5-liter twin-turbo lifting power from 585 PS (430 kW) and 900 Nm (664 lb-ft) to no less than 800 PS (588 kW) and 1,150 Nm (848 lb-ft). The significant output boost was obtained by fiddling with the engine's electronics, installing a custom exhaust system with valve command, upgrading the manifold and charge air cooler as well as installing larger turbos.
More power commands better brakes so the S63 AMG Coupe received a larger carbon ceramic system hiding behind Vossen CVT 22-inch alloy wheels while the custom springs can lower the ride height between 10mm and 35mm.

I think with this thread, it's got me curious enough to go visit my local dealer for a test drive
With the price point these cars are pushing ~ how many here are really thinking about getting one? I mean this is certainly not a cheap car and we know how Mercedes resale value stands. Buying one used makes sense but a new one???

2014 Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG does 0-257 km/h sprint [video]
Features a 630 PS V12 engine
A 2014 Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG was put through its paces in a 0-160 mph (0-257 km/h) sprint.
Introduced in November last year, the S65 AMG hasn’t received the media exposure it deserves but now the V12-powered super sedan was tested by Ausfahrt.tv in a sprint from standstill until the electronic limiter kicked it. Its twin-turbo 6.0-liter generates 630 PS (463 kW) and 1,000 Nm (737 lb-ft) of torque, enough for a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) run in 4.3 seconds. The digital speedometer showed 160 mph (257 km/h) but in reality the car was doing 155 mph (250 km/h).
The same twelve cylinder engine is expected to power the S65 AMG Coupe which will reportedly be unveiled next month. In addition, AMG will also provide the V12 motor for the longer wheelbase S65 AMG Maybach planned for later this year. The even longer Pullman will likely be offered with the same motor and a 2+2+2 seating arrangement once it will come out probably in 2015.

Furthermore, there is still the power improvement Export! Nearly identical procedure for all biturbo engines, only the “virus” of the engine electronics is named now VD STORM 850, in combination with a bigger turbo charger offering 850 HP with also 1,150 Nm of torque.
In order to tame such a sumptuous abundance of power in an appropriate way, the Goldbach experts have installed ca. 30 kg Gewicht einsparende a carbon-ceramic braking system with 4 piston caliper brake around the car. Their imposing calipers are dimensioned in front 420/40 mm and behind 370/32 mm.
At the end rests still the dream like nice wheel-tire-combination. VOLTAGE-DESIGN has applied a set of Vossen CVT rims in silver metallic 9 x 22 in. on the front and 10,5 x 22 in. on the rear axle. By the way, coilovers / springs allow a lowering by 10 ... 35 mm
