They said the same after first CTS, second CTS and now after ATS.

Good for US sales but are there any Caddy dealers left in Europe?

Well, the new CTS is a bit narrower which is a nod to the narrower streets in Europe. I think it will sell better than previous models.

As for the Ciel... just build the damn thing. That would be a proper flagship.

... and the Catera, the Caddy that Zigs, in 1997 (better than the Cimarron, I suppose).

Caddies have come a longggg way with this new design language. I think the new CTS looks pretty damn good. Never liked the CTS coupe though (that rear-end left me cold).

ATS looks decent too.

But, having said all that, I still don't want one. I don't care how well they handle or how much HP they stuff under the hood. It still looks a little too "stately" and old-fogey-ish for me. I don't know what it is.

But maybe in 10 or 15 years, I'll be ready. Right now, I just think I'd look right piloting a new Caddy, even the CTS or ATS. I feel like I need to be about 55+. LOL

Well, each to his own (and I respect your opinion). But some auto-mag reviewers half that age (still in their 20s) are really digging the ATS.

Yeah, hec, I really dig the ATS. I even think it looks pretty good. But it still feels like an "older" person's car for some reason. Similar to Lincoln. They all look like they should have 55+ piloters.

It's probably just an old bias I can't shake, but the Caddy exterior still looks "mature" (old CTS-V sedan and wagon excluded).
