Entry level lux car: IS250 still viable?

New models, though, sometimes have teething problems in the first year, though reliability is usually not a major Lexus fault, especially in the IS line. The only sub-par Lexus models in reliability (according to Consumer Reports) were some of the GS300AWD models.

I also realize that I myself took somewhat of a chance buying a first-year model, though its basic components had already been already been produced in Europe and/or other GM divisions.
