nice storage for phone, passthrough for wires... also gets ventilated front seats, heated back and dial is same as in lexus, not usual crappy toyota. 8" nav with JBL 12 speakers
Good thing Toyota is able to make their cars look big now. GM has been doing a good job of that recently with their Malibu, Impala, and XTS. All of those vehicles look a size bigger than they are. Not bad guys, not bad at all...
its pre-production... but also in Toyota's you sometimes get piece of plastic thats not looking right, even if it is the same in every single car... it is not lexus :-).

True but when a model is going to a show, things like that should be fixed before the unveiling.People don't know about the pre production thing. They just see it as a flaw.
2nd seat looks nice.. shades on the side... notice rear wents above doors and that rear has its own climate control
I am impressed with the interior. I traded an '11 Highlander as it did not have many features that I desired. At this point, the Highlander has options like heated steering wheel, rear climate control, panoramic sunroof, and rear sunshades that the RX doesn't offer.

unless it is going to be like that in every single car :-)
The front end definitely echoes the Tundra while the rear reminds me of one of these:
I'm not loving the front center stack as it feels too much of a throwback to the late 80s. I actually wish they'd kept the more futuristic theme of the current design. (the only tradeoff being there are admittedly too many buttons) I do like that they got rid of the hood over the instrument panel which made it impossible for passengers to see anything. Also, looks like they got rid of the multi-information display at the top of the stack and replaced it with a separate clock and standard AC display below the NAV.
