The 2014 Scion tC coupe will debut at the 2013 New York auto show next week, the automaker has just announced. The current, second-generation tC was first introduced for the 2011 model year, and we’re guessing the 2014 tC will represent more of a major refresh than a full redesign.
So far, we only have one teaser image of the 2014 Scion tC, but it won’t be long before the full car is revealed.

This first gen tC had a TRD supercharger as an option, but it was prohibitively expensive and only offered as an accessory. I believe total cost including installation was over $5000, which was >25% the cost of the car itself. Plus it didn't add much power. I think a 4 cylinder is simply too small for significant gains from a supercharger, turbo would be a much better option.
