96 NSX red/tan, comptech sc on autotrader

Looks like an unpainted Wings West front lip. Seems like a reasonable deal for under $40k.

If money wasn't a big factor among those choices, I would definitely go with the NSX. It aged so well, even the earlier models are still breathtakingly gorgeous. Of course, because it's so rare, that's a hard buy. To be honest, all the cars you mentioned would be a solid buy. But I'm partial to the Porsche look, so my vote is on the Cayman. Also, it's a mid engine

Thanks for all the input so far (strangely no one from Bimmer camp has spoken up?!!). Any thoughts on the RX8? Yes, i know about rotaries and their horror stories, but it's so darn cheap though.....

I'd refrain from the RX-8. The RX-7, however, was a much better built vehicle and there weren't as many mechanical troubles from what my friend has told me (loves the rotaries). But with the cars you've listed, the NSX is harder to find than any of the cars there. The Porsche will probably be the best driver experience, but I'm not so sure on reliability. Best of luck!

Since you like the Genesis Coupe 2.0T and 40K is your limit, check out the 3.8 Track model. It starts at 33K, and you could probably get one for 40K or under.
IMO, it is a VERY impressive sport coupe...I don't think you will be disappointed.

Thanks for the suggestions, however at 40k, I'm more inclined to buy a Tier 1 luxury nameplate. No offense to Huyndai, but their target demographic is more inline with the 2.0T at the value end of the spectrum. At 40K, there's much more and better options out there, including older vehicles.

Removed BMW since you care about reliability.
Removed Gen Coupe and G37 since you care about handling (they're too heavy).
Voted for Caymen S.
NSX is too expensive and turbo charged FR-S/BRZ won't be here at all or takes years.
