Is like how all kids are beautiful in their parent's eyes, regardless of how ugly they actually are.

I want all 3, they all offer something different. 1000 hp hyper cars, what's not to like?

Yes, 918 manages to be race bred but dailyable and an efficient EV system. P1 seems more wild in a technological sort of way. And the LaFerrari is exotica x10

Since the EV mode is not listed as a feature of the FLF, I imagine the EV mode is only good for a handful of miles (if that) and not worthy of listing by Ferrari. Still though, this is a great feat. Makes me love the car even more

Default Just found this

LaFerrari's all-electric mode has never been a secret

So, yesterday, we saw some video of a LaFerrari tooling around a racetrack paddock under electric power only and everyone was like, "AHA! What's this!? Ferrari's been hiding this all-electric mode!"

But they haven't. At the LaFerrari press-launch, Ferrari's communications people were very clear about the car's ability to operate under electric power only. The exact wording escapes me, but basically the line was that the car wasn't intended to be run as an EV, but that owners had asked for an EV mode, even if it was only useful to move around a paddock or garage. As reported by Autoweek, the owners got their wish:

"Porsche's 918 and McLaren's P1 are both plug-in hybrids and both have limited all-electric range. Ferrari's battery is smaller than those in the McLaren and the Porsche, and Ferrari has included very limited all-electric capability at the request of some customers."

You can read the first drive here, with a closer look here. Obviously, we're giving our buddies at Jalopnik and Autoblog a bit of a hard time, but really, it would have been easy to miss that little bit of information on the LaFerrari. I don't know that it made it into any other report on the car.

One more bit of info: The car can also be plugged in, though in practice, it's more like running a trickle charger than charging an EV.

Ok so yes it's very limited in full EV, but it still exists

Excellent, so you can sneak out of the house without the ferocious roar of the V12, visit the track, visit the GF, and back home the wife will never know

edit* eh let's face it karma will get you though and deplete the EV mode when you get home - busted ! lol

Default Brand new LaFerrari on sale in Luxembourg for €3 million

Click here to view more photos

Ferrari asked €1 million (before taxes)

An unused LaFerrari is available at a car dealer in Luxembourg for a staggering €3 million.

Ferrari asked €1 million (before taxes) for each of the 499 LaFerrari units and now car dealer Garage Guillaume Pereira SA in Luxembourg has the audacity to ask three times more for an unused car finished in Rosso Corsa.

Although the price tag seems insane, let's not forget that according to a report issued by Motoring Research, LaFerrari customers are willing to pay an extra €1.25 million just to get their cars faster than original programmed.

We remind you that more than a month ago another brand new LaFerrari showed up for sale in Dubai, this time with a Nero paint and a significantly lower price tag of AED 12,500,000 (€2.67 million). At the beginning of the year SEMCO GmbH in Germany listed the first production LaFerrari driven for only 124 miles (200 km) at €2.38 million.

Default Fully camouflaged Ferrari LaFerrari XX spied up and close, to debut in December

Could be presented during the Ferrari Finali Mondiali event

The Ferrari LaFerrari XX has been spied testing on the Adria Raceway in Italy.

It was last week when we saw the track machine tackling the Paul Ricard circuit in France and now we have close exterior and interior photos to share. The prototype is heavily camouflaged and carries a massive two-part rear wing. This is also the first time we can take a look at the interior of the model

According to our source, the machine will be officially revealed during the Ferrari Finali Mondiali event in Abu Dhabi, scheduled for December 3-6. Previous reports have suggested the LaFerrari XX will be powered by a modified 6.3-liter V12 engine and a tweaked electric motor. The track beast is expected to generate as much as 1,050 HP (772 kW). Production will reportedly be limited to only 30 units.

Default Black LaFerrari rumored to belong to Felipe Massa spotted in Monaco

Click here to view more photos

With red accents

A brand new LaFerrari painted in Nero (black) has been photographed on the streets of Monaco.

Ferrari is making only 499 units of their latest flagship model and among the famous buyers we mention Jamiroquai's Jay Kay, Cristiano Ronaldo, Chris Evans, Samuel Eto'o and Van Halen's Sammy Hagar. It seems another name has been added to this list as the sinister LaFerrari seen here painted in black with red accents is rumored to belong to Felipe Massa, former Scuderia Ferrari F1 driver and currently running for Williams Martini Racing.

If the car does indeed belong to Felipe Massa, needless to say he wasn't one of the customers willing to pay an additional €1.25 million to get the vehicle quicker. Since he knows his way around a circuit, maybe the Brazilian driver will be interested in purchasing next year's LaFerrari XX which has allegedly lapped the 'Ring in 6:35.
