well done and I commend MB for putting so much into their refreshes. Same thing as what they did to the C class, practically a new car. Lexus OTOH tends to just change tail lights and bumpers and calls it a day, except for the recent LS

Lovin those dual DRL's !! now that's original!
I love how mercedes just keeps re-inventing what's already good. Just when you think it can't get any better, they manage to make it look even better. I'm also loving the front grille treatment they are giving to all the new model line up.

Didn't realize that MB was phasing out the V8 model...looks like BMW and Infiniti are the only ones offering eight cylinders in a non-high performance car. Everyone was up in arms over the idea earlier, but it looks like Audi and Lexus had the right idea with the GS and A6.

If companies did not charge such a premium for a V8 they would be more popular, especially considering the poor economy we have had for the past few years, much of the it is pure profit added to the cost anyway. In a sluggish economy they should just lower the premium or offer more options standard when getting the V8 instead of getting rid of the V8 altogether. It is only a matter of time until BMW drops its regular v8 option from the 5 series, they have already talked about phasing it out. BMW and Mercedes spent all that money to develop the new turbo V8's only to drop them after 1 model cycle for one of their most popular and most profitable/important models . Infiniti is dropping their V8 option for the next M. Hyundai may be the only company in the mid size executive luxury class with the Genesis that offers a regular V8 option in a few years.
FYI, Inifniti said they are dropping the V-8 period. Hyundai can sell the V-8 now but the Won continues to strengthen and lets see what happens when they have to raise prices.
We might see a shift where mid-size sedans offer the V-8 only in the high performance versions and of course Flagships keep offering a V-8.
I miss the quad lamps already
