Most of today's engines are so complex that it is not always just a simple case of yanking the old ones out with a chain-lift and dropping in new ones, just like that. There are a lot of factors to be dealt with.
uhm? really? I guess my post was too simple. The only reason I own a Lexus is because I totaled my RX7 that I had spent two years building. It had a LS1 from a vette and a T56 from a camaro I also had the 8.8 solid rear from a cobra as well as hundreds of custom parts /i made or adapted. I thin I can handle the swap into my SC but you didnt know that so I aint whining, more of a justification or amendment to my previous post.

Hopefully she'll get fixed an get back on the road...with a new owner.
As the information in the article went on to discuss, it still has manufacturer plates, indicating likely test vehicle/pre-production unit that would have to be destroyed/broken down anyways.
