oh lexus is definitely on that track and i am very excited after seeing all the concepts. given what they have done with the lfa and how the 4gs drives? i can't wait

for the nsx, we will see, it's still early to tell but concept is interesting. i am still unsure about the hybrid part

both amazing cars. if forced to choose (yeah, right), i'd take the LFA.
thanks paul! i actually debated to return the nsx to lexus instead, but figured it wouldn't work

I would have loved a ride in the LF-A!

I wish I could somehow get my hands in one so I could do a shoot and little write-up on it.

Superb article Henry!! I actually copied it to a word doc so I can re-read and enjoy it from time to time.

What a thrill for you to have driven both great cars and in fact currently own an NSX!! Thank so much for sharing this write up and Props to you sir.

Please continue to enjoy your NSX in good health and please post up a pic if/when you purchase an LFA as how cool of a garage would you have with those two cars parked in it?

thank you larry! i think being an nsx owner allows me to really understand the car, and if anything, it really helps me to understand the lfa (as a car and the project itself). it didn't strike me how similar (in a sense) the two projects are until i started writing, and that was really exciting!

i am truly enjoying my nsx every day. people call me crazy racking up miles on such a nice car, but if i get a car i intend to drive it

haha i doubt i can afford an lfa, this might be as close as it can ever happen

haha i bet i will hear from HOA before any neighbors.

talk about neighbors, not many of them talked when i got the nsx. but pretty much all of them stared non-stop when they noticed the lfa. and according to my wife, when i started the car the whole house rumbled, and as i pulled away the engine sound was heard 1/2 block away. i had to baby the throttle to not cause a scene...

True, the worst part is the waiting though. Although you can bet they are crossing all their T's and dotting all their I's this time around. 4GS is a marvel and shows improved quality inside and out. Lexus has learned the hard way with the L-Finesse designs mainly from 2006-2011 which although sleeker, were not as well built as Lexus's of past. Compare a 2006 ES330 to a 2007 ES350 and you'll see poorer materials and worse fit and finish and panel gaps.

Hybrid seems to be the future route for super cars. the 918, Enzo successor, and Ford GT successor are all slated to have a hybrid system

yup, there is a reason why i was disappointed with our ls460l and gs350.

for hybrid, maybe but i am still not very sure. the power for sure is there, but also the weight and the "quietness", which becomes a mixed feeling

"the future" is a big chunk of time.

when do you see this happening for "all cars"?
