Definitely looks like a smaller Avalon, which is not a bad thing! Like the Nissan Sentra resembling a smaller Maxima, looks like the economy cars are finally seeing some more "luxury" looks and options!

The running jokes around here is to never get stuck behind a beige corolla. By the looks of this one, maybe it won't be such a bad thing. Hoping it gets some guts to go with the looks.

This new Corolla appears to be a European spec. The rectangular front plate and the Toyota Europe font is apparent. The Corolla Furia concept is supposed to be more in line with the North American look for Corolla. So like the Camry, the new Corolla for North America may look a tad bit different in the nose and the rear compared to other global markets.

Looks nicer but I still just don't know about Toyota's new corporate front end. Avalon wears it well, but the Rav4 and this Corolla leave me scratching my head.
Looking at the newer cars makes me think there was some validity in the rumor that the refresh of the Camry would be pretty significant.

Well the original HS is the last car Lexus released before Lexus started to truly break away from Toyota-like designs. Anything new, redesigned or refreshed after that, starting with the CT, began to adopt Lexus's new design theme and no longer look like a Toyota.

The new face lifted HS250h looks really good, i think it wears the spindle grille very well.
The new Corolla is also a huge improvement. Front end looks better than the asian Camry also known as the Aurion in some markets.
