I took it for a test drive today. The 5-speed drives so much better than the auto in my parents' Montero. The wiper motor needs looking at, you have to jiggle it to get the wipers to work. Other than that, everything seemed to work. The brake light was on, as was the ABS. It has an aftermarket gauge pod on the dash, with battery, oil pressure, and a compass/thermometer. Comes with a clarion CD player, which I didn't test since I don't have any CDs anymore. The tires are brand new. I'm heavily considering it. The dealer says he knows the last owner and would ask him when/if the timing belt has been changed. If not, I would have to try and negotiate the price down on it. He's asking $3500.
